Newly Formed Joint Venture Selects Sportingtech for Growth in Africa
888AFRICA has selected full-service betting and gaming platform provider Sportingtech to provide the operator’s online platform for its large multi-country rollout across Africa.
888AFRICA was launched as a joint venture by 888 Holdings plc and five industry veterans to enter the fast-paced regulatory continent.
It is led by former CMO of The Stars Group, Christopher Coyne, alongside former colleagues Andrew Lee and Ian Marmion and with the market expertise of former CPO Alex Rutherford of Editec Online and former CFO of Premier Bet Helen Scott-Allen.
As part of its growth ambitions, the company plans to achieve market-leading positions in the near future across the continent, which it will seek to achieve through Sportingtech’s flagship product, Quantum.
The platform offers end users an optimized betting experience and operators the flexibility of a highly customizable solution, access to over 65 sports, 9,000 games and over 1,000 betting markets.
