Bookmakers are gearing up for their busiest weekend of the year with the 2022 Grand National just hours away.

Punters around the world are expected to place bets totaling more than £300m on the world’s biggest horse race ahead of and through Saturday afternoon.

There are three horses that stand out in the betting with last year’s winner Minella Times, Delta Work and Snow Leopardess all rated as 8/1 joint favorites to be first after the post at Aintree.

What are the last offers before the Grand National?

Several betting companies are offering a number of special offers for new customers during the Grand National weekend.

Betfred will offer a total of £60 bonus when you register on their website and place a first bet of £10 or more.

888 Sport and Bet365 have similar offers with respective bonuses of £40 and £50 and Betfair have a unique offer offering a £20 free bet if a new customer places £50 in bets.

William Hill returns two £15 bets to new customers once an initial bet worth £10 is placed and Paddy Power will refund up to £20 if a new customer’s first bet is unsuccessful.
