However, the NJ online casino industry saw its biggest increases when the global pandemic forced the temporary closure of Atlantic City casinos and canceled sporting events. The industry really took off from there.

NJ online casino year-to-date revenue stands at $1.22 billion through September.

The Borgata, directed by BetMGM and Borgata on line vsAsians, was once again the only licensee to surpass $40 million in monthly revenue, reporting $41.1 million in September. However, Borgata finished around $700,000 before August.

NFL and College Football Bets Trigger NJ Sports Betting

Sports betting took off in September with the two NFL Betting and college football sports betting return markets. While this explains August’s massive monthly management and revenue increases, the state books also topped last September’s action.

Revenue of $98 million is a solid 18.9% jump off The $82 million of September 2021.

Surprisingly, the earnings for the year do not match those of the state 12 months ago. Revenues are currently around $41 million late within the past month, or down 7.3%. This could be attributed to the impact of New York mobile sports betting.

Fortunately, sports betting has time to catch up with this difference in the coming months. If September was any indication, it could be a very busy fall for sports betting operators.

Clearly, the fact that the inhabitants can again bet on football matches is crucial. The sport is by far the most popular to bet on in US sportsbooks.

It is also certainly useful that all local teams in the region were successful from the start. The New York Giants and Jetswith the Philadelphia Eaglesall look like playoff contenders.
