ORYX online casino games go live with Novibet in Greece
Online casino content provider ORYX Gaming, part of the larger Bragg Gaming group, has strengthened its presence in the recently revamped iGaming marketplace in Greece after bringing its products online with Novibet.
News about the integration and launch of ORYX with the locally popular online casino and sportsbook brand is emerging just weeks after the company was granted a B2B vendor license from the Hellenic Gaming Commission.
ORYX’s partnership with Novibet has allowed the content provider to further expand its reach and exposure in the Greek online gaming space.
Earlier this year, Greece passed several significant changes in the way online casino services are expected to be delivered in the country. Under these newly introduced rules, the maximum wager on any locally permitted online slot machine is capped at ⬠2 per tour.
Additionally, players must wait at least three seconds between rounds. According to another rule, the maximum prize that an online casino game can award is capped at ⬠70,000 per tour. All iGaming operators and content creators had to adjust their offering to meet the new requirements and obtain new licenses from the Greek gambling regulator in order to be able to operate and offer products in the local market.
A new partnership also covers other markets
ORYX’s partnership with Novibet has seen the gambling operator, one of Greece’s largest, bring a selection of the provider’s vast collection of casino titles online.
Under the terms of the agreement, Novibet is also expected to upload ORYX content to the United Kingdom and Italy by the end of the year. The provider has previously stated that it intends to enter both of these markets as part of its strategy to increase its exposure in regulated territories in Europe, North America and globally.
ORYX hopes to receive its UK Gambling Commission license which will allow him to offer his products on the local market. The company is also expected to have its first batch of games certified for the Italian market later this year.
Commenting on their partnership with Novibet, Bragg Gaming CCO Chris Looney said that they have taken their first steps into the Greek market and that this alliance with Novibet is important to ORYX as it broadcasts its content live with one of Greece’s biggest brands.
Mr Looney added that in addition to strengthening their position in Greece, the deal will also provide “ample opportunity for ORYX in the future, with our partnership intended to extend to other regulated markets.
ORYX recently celebrated its expansion into another important market through integration with a local operator. The supplier had partnered with AdmiralBet to launch its products with the operator in Serbia where it already has a strong presence.
